With a different lineup, Alexandria ended in a draw with first league Mariupol
Alexandria Today, with different lineups, they played two friendly matches, in which they won against Chernomorets (2:0) and ended in a draw with the first league Mariupol (2:2).
The main hero of the match with Chernomorets was Alexandria’s summer newcomer, forward Alexander Filippov, who scored twice.
In the match against Mariupol, Yevhen Smirnyi and Vladislav Pogorely distinguished themselves as part of the UPL representative.
Let us recall that the first round match of the UPL between Oleksandria and Dynamo was postponed to a later date due to the presence of a number of players from these teams on the Ukrainian Olympic team.
Chernomorets will play in the first round of the UPL as planned on August 4 – Oleksandr Babich’s team will face Kryvbas away. Mariupol will start in the First League on the same day.
