The fate of the championship title was decided by a shootout after the main competition
Korean Ban Hyo-Jin won gold in shooting 10m air rifle on Olympics 2024 in Paris.
The 16-year-old athlete snatched the championship title in a tense battle with Chinese Huang Yuting. Bang was confidently ahead, but made two unsuccessful last shots, which is why Huang caught up with her. The fate of the gold was decided by a shoot-off – the Korean won it with a hit of 10.4 against the Chinese 10.3.
Note that Ban and Juan are together repeated the Olympic record 2021 – 251.8 points. The bronze medal went to Audrey Gognath from Switzerland.
