Today at the 2024 Games, new Olympic records were set in the men’s 800m freestyle (Ireland’s Daniel Wiffen beat Ukraine’s Mykhailo Romanchuk) and in the women’s 100m backstroke (Australia’s Kayleigh McKeown improved her own record).
