Moscow CSKA Grozny has won “Akhmat” during the match of the third round of the group stage of the Russian Football Cup RPL FONBET.
The Group C match took place in Grozny and ended with a score of 2:0 in favor of the guests. In the 87th minute, Tamerlan Musaev scored a goal and Danil Krugovoy scored in injury time (90+7).
In Akhmat, midfielder Anton Shvets was unable to finish the match due to injury; he was replaced by Rangers’ Brazilian Camilo in the 49th minute.
CSKA scored five points and moved up to second place in the group standings by beating Akhmat (3 points). Also in the quartet are Krasnodar (6) and Nizhny Novgorod PARI NN (1), who will play their match on Wednesday in Nizhny Novgorod.
In the next round, CSKA will host Krasnodar and Akhmat will travel to PARIS NN. Both meetings will take place on September 18.
