Rossoneri to swap Englishman for winger Alexis Saelemaekers plus €10m add-on
Milan completes deal to transfer forward Tammy Abraham’s Roma.
The Rossoneri are preparing to exchange the Englishman for winger Alexis Saelemaekers. Roma will also receive an additional 10 million euros. The clubs are finalizing the details of the deal.
It was previously reported that West Ham intends to take Abraham on loan. It is noted that Tammy himself agreed to move to Milan in July, and the Hammers’ interest is not relevant for him, as well as for Roma.
Abraham is a competitor of Ukrainian Artem Dovbyk for a place in Roma’s attack. The Englishman missed a significant part of last season due to a cruciate ligament injury. The forward played 12 matches, scoring one goal and making one assist.
Milan and Roma have each picked up one point from their opening two Serie A games. The Rossoneri will next play Lazio on August 31. Roma travel to Juventus on September 1.
