Athletistic/Football. Zenit head coach Sergei Semak has reported on the current condition of recently injured striker Maxim Glushenkov.

— You mentioned that Maxim Glushenkov cannot help the team yet. Is there an approximate timetable for his return to the general group and matches?

– There are no specific dates yet, everything depends on the pace of his rehabilitation. At the moment, he is not ready for full training. Maxim can perform individual exercises, but any group exercises are now risky for him, because any contact can worsen his condition, Semak was quoted as saying by Zenit’s official website.

It is worth noting that Glushenkov underwent hand surgery after an injury sustained in the Russian Premier League 5th round match with Khimki (1:1).
