Supryaga made his debut for Bartulovic’s team, and Budkovsky and Benito scored
Dawn And Polesie decided to fill the international break with a joint sparring match. The opponents played four halves of 30 minutes, and in this confrontation the Luhansk team was stronger – 2:1.
Zarya started actively, created several chances and deservedly took the lead in the 17th minute – Filipp Budkovsky scored after a cross from the flank.
The match continued with mutual chances, but the next goal was again scored by Mladen Bartulovic’s team. In the middle of the third half, Benito scored after a flank pass and a pass from Junior Reis. Shortly before that, Dynamo loanee Vladislav Supryaga, who made his debut for the Luhansk team, missed his chance.
Polesie took the initiative and managed to get one goal back shortly before the end of the match. Luifer Hernandez curled the ball into the far top corner with a great shot. But Imad Ashour’s charges could not do more.
In the UPL after five rounds, Zorya is sixth with nine points, Poliesie is second with ten (and a match in reserve). In the next round, the Luhansk team will host Dynamo on September 14, and the Ashur team will play Veres at home a day later.
