On Saturday, the Russian national team was scheduled to play a friendly match with the Thai national team in Hanoi, but the match was cancelled due to bad weather.
Vietnam’s Ministry of Emergency Situations on Friday issued a warning to residents and guests in Hanoi about an approaching typhoon. Typhoon Yagi could become the strongest typhoon in the past 10 years in the South China Sea, according to meteorologists.
It was also reported that the players, headquarters and team staff were planning to take a flight from Hanoi to Moscow on Sunday evening.
