Kryvyi Rih defender talks about preparation for Ukrainian championship during break for national team games
Defender Krivbassa Alexander Romanchuk spoke about the team’s preparation for the Ukrainian championship during the break for national team matches.
“The team had a little rest, after all, we played nine official matches in a month. We needed this reboot. Everyone met with their families, gained new strength and emotions. Now we are ready for new challenges.”
“We are one team. This difficult path that we have covered in a short period of time – well done to all. We played against strong opponents and withstood the pace of their game at the European level. I feel that we have grown professionally as a team and are now determined to demonstrate this in the UPL and the Ukrainian Cup.”
Kryvbas failed to make it to the main round of the European Cups. Yuriy Vernydub’s team lost to Viktoria in the Europa League qualification, and then lost twice to Betis in the Conference League playoffs.
Kryvbas is in eighth place in the UPL, having scored seven points after four matches. In the next match, Vernydub’s team will play with Left Bank on September 15.
