The player’s current contract expires in the summer of 2025
Madrid defender Reala Dani Carvajal expressed a desire to extend his contract with Blancos.
“If all parties agree, I want to renew my contract and continue my career at Real Madrid. This is what I have always wanted and what I want now. I would not like to play for any other club in Europe after finishing my career at Real Madrid out of respect for them.”
The current agreement expires in the summer of 2025. At the same time, the Blancos management is not against a new contract with the player and is considering a long-term contract with the Spaniard, which rarely happens when contracts are extended with older players in the Real Madrid system.
Carvajal has been playing for Real since 2013. Last season, the 32-year-old defender played 41 matches for the club in all competitions. Dani scored six goals and made five assists.
In 2024, Daniel won all the major tournaments he took part in – the Spanish Championship, the Champions League and the European Championship.
Carvajal won 26 trophies with Los Blancos. The Spaniard also made history by becoming the first player to play in six UEFA Super Cup matches.
In the La Liga standings, Blancos are in second place after four rounds. Tomorrow, September 14, Carlo Ancelotti’s team will play Real Sociedad.
