Defender “Spartak” Mienti Abena said that the Russian Premier League (RPL) is more competitive than the Hungarian football championship.
Abena left Ferencvaros for Spartak in August. In four matches for the “red and whites” he has not scored any effective action.

The Russian championship is more competitive than the Hungarian championship. Many teams here fight for the championship. In Hungary there was only Ferencvaros, sometimes a few teams fought, but in the end Ferencvaros was always the champion. “I was at Zenit stadium, it is much bigger than Ferencvaros. When you visit every team in Russia, you see their stadiums and you realize that they are cooler. As for the game, you can’t compare it, in Russia there is one level of football, in Hungary it is different,” Abena told Soviet Sport.
