“Zvezda Star” crushed on the road “Partisan” during the ninth round match of the Serbian football championship.
The match took place at Partizan Stadium in Belgrade and ended with a score of 4:0. Cherif N’Diaye scored a hat-trick, Silas scored a goal.
Earlier it was reported that on the night from Saturday to Sunday unknown persons entered the Partizan arena and set fire to the pitch using a flammable liquid. As a result, the club managed to prepare the pitch for Monday’s match.
Red Star leads the standings with 22 points, Partizan (11 points) is eighth.
In the next round, Red Star will host Železničar Pancevo at home on September 27, and Partizan will travel to Mladost Lucani two days later.
