The Ukrainian wants to get stable gaming practice
Ukrainian midfielder Mikhail Mudrik decided to leave Chelsea.
The 23-year-old Ukrainian wants to continue his development and improvement as a football player, and for this he is ready to change his club registration in order to get more playing time. The Blues management is ready to release the player during the winter transfer window.
Mudrik moved to Chelsea in January 2023 and signed an eight-and-a-half-year contract. Chelsea and Shakhtar agreed on the transfer of Mudryk for 100 million euros. Last season, 23-year-old Mudrik played in 41 matches for the Blues in all competitions, scoring seven goals and providing two assists.
In the start of the 2024/25 season, Mudryk only appeared in Chelsea’s starting lineup once in a Premier League match. In total, the Ukrainian played five matches (2 in the Premier League, 2 in Conference League qualifying and 1 in the League Cup), scoring two assists.
Among the contenders for the player was Marseille. Information also appeared about Mudrik’s potential rental to Barcelona in the winter.
Chelsea is in fifth place in the Premier League standings. Tomorrow, September 27, Enzo Mareschi’s team will host Brighton.
