The new agreement runs until 2030. Other terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Duran has played for the Villans since January 2023. Duran has six goals in ten matches this season. The forward played five of them as a substitute, including an incredible goal against Bayern in the Champions League.
After his performance against the Munich team, Real Madrid became interested in the player. Aston Villa, in the event of a potential sale, wants to get at least 50 million pounds for the player.
The Birmingham club is in fifth place in the Premier League standings. On October 19, Aston Villa will play Fulham.
