The 34-year-old ex-midfielder of Real Madrid and the German national team ended his playing career after Euro 2024
Former midfielder Real Madrid And German national team Toni Kroos signed up for coaching courses UEFA category “B”.
It is reported that the 34-year-old German is not sure that he will connect his future with coaching. However, he decided to undergo training in case he was inspired to move into coaching. Now for Kroos the priority is the development of his football academy.
The coaching courses themselves will be held with the support of Real Madrid. The bulk of the classes will be held online, but several lessons will be held face-to-face at the Blancos club base in Valdebebas.
On July 5, the German national team midfielder played his last match in his football career – Bundesteam lost to Spain (1:2) in the quarter finals of Euro 2024 in overtime. Toni Kroos himself spent all 120 minutes on the field.
In his club career, Kroos has played for Real Madrid since 2014 and won 22 trophies with the Blancos, including five European Cups and four La Liga titles. In February, Tony played his 450th match for the Madrid club.
Kroos is also known for his performances for Bayern (11 titles, including three Bundesliga championships). Tony is the first ever six-time winner of the Club World Cup and five-time winner of the UEFA Super Cup.
For the German national team, Kroos played more than 114 matches and scored 17 goals. Together with Bundesteam, he won the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. In 2021, Tony ended his international career, but in February this year he announced his return to the national team, with which he competed at home Euro 2024.
