Vladislav has already been called up to the national team, but has not yet played a minute
Defender Dynamo Vladislav Dubinchak commented on the October matches Ukrainian national team V League of Nationsand also spoke about his desire to play for the national team.
“In general, the impressions are positive. It is clear that it was psychologically difficult, but, in my opinion, the result of the October matches was good: a win and a draw. The main thing is not to lose.”
“Of course, everyone who plays professional football wants to play for their team. This is an indicator that you are a true professional and can represent your country at the international level. Naturally, I want to play for the national team. But everything is decided by the head coach. I’m not angry, I’m not offended, I’m just worried about my national team.”
26-year-old Dubinchak has not yet made his debut in the first national team of Ukraine. His first and only call to the ranks of Rebrov’s team took place in November last year – then Vladislav sat in the reserves for the Euro 2024 qualifying match against Italy (0:0).
This season, Dubinchak is in fierce competition for a place in the Dynamo team with Konstantin Vivcharenko. Vladislav has 11 matches in various tournaments and one assist. The Kiev team leads the UPL standings, two points ahead of Polesie and Alexandria.
Ukraine has four points after four rounds and closes the standings of Quartet 1 in Division B of the 2024/25 Nations League. Note that Sergei Rebrov’s team scored all the points in October: a draw with the Czech Republic (1:1) and a victory over Georgia (1:0).
In November, Ukraine will have two final matches of the 2024/25 Nations League. The Blue-Yellows will face Georgia on November 16 in Batumi, and Albania on November 19 in Tirana.
