And now – our individual nominations:

The Dutch specialist took charge of the team at the height of the season, when Metalist 1925 had already started in the championship and cup. There were less than two weeks left before the transfer window closed, the training camp was behind us – van Leeuwen could no longer form a squad for himself and prepare players according to his vision. To this we add injuries, which almost until recently did not allow the Kharkov team to play in the optimal lineup. Instability in the game and results led the most powerful team in terms of composition and investments to a difficult struggle to get into the top four and the “Championship” group. Taking this into account, the match against the debutants of the First League was one of the key ones – YUKSA was four points ahead of the Kharkov team, and direct competitors Kudrovka and Victoria played each other. The victory allowed Metalist 1925 to get as close as possible to the Tarasov and Kudrov team, although it is still in fifth place.
- Analysis from the All-Ukrainian Association of Football Coaches – Here.

We had competition in this category. Of course, in FSK Mariupol two goals were scored by players from the bench – Dmitry Fateev and Igor Bykovsky (the latter from a pass from Yaroslav Mnishenko), but in the match with Dinaz they scored with their team’s advantage and the score ended in defeat. But the laureate we are choosing saved his team from defeat on the road. Moreover, Dmitry Irodovsky scored from a pass from Vladimir Polevoy, the same age as Aliyev and Milevsky, who also came on as a substitute.

- SportArena statistics: 16 league matches, 3 goals.

At one time, a graduate of Kovel football, Sidun showed himself very brightly in the Second League, but after Karpaty-2 he did not have much of a chance in the first club team, which was gradually becoming legionized, so he went to Ternopil in search of playing practice. The 19-year-old striker did not immediately find himself in Niva, but injuries to competitors and a change in tactics helped him prove himself in the eyes of Wirth. Playing on the right flank, Vadim began to score – in October he scored two goals in three matches, and in the reporting round he saved his team from a home defeat in the match with Bukovina – a strong opponent in terms of player selection with experienced players in the defensive block.
- SportArena statistics: 6 league matches, 2 goals.
Why is this being done? For the second round in a row, the choice is so crazy that it is very difficult to choose – but we are counting all these goals as the best of the season and will definitely summarize them in a separate material and video. So this time there are beautiful goals from the Zaporozhian Irodovsky, the Mariupol Bykovsky, and the Kharkov resident Kravets. You only need to choose one. Our choice is another Yarmolinya in the First League. We quote the report: “Mnishenko intercepted the opponents’ pass, stretched the ball and connected Bykovsky on the right flank, he moved and with his left foot, Yarmolenko carried it diagonally into the far corner – 3:0. Igor’s first goal after a serious injury.”
The goal can be seen on video at 2:00:22

Read later on our website an interview with the player who opened the scoring in the match with YUKSA and won a difficult battle on the left flank of defense.
- SportArena statistics: 10 league matches, 1 goal, 1 assist.
In general, there have been a lot of funny goals in the Ukrainian championship lately, but it’s worth watching how the fastest “wild card” on the tour, defender Fateev, scored. I replaced Pudi, the scorer of the first goal, in the 66th minute, started on a long pass from Zhovtenko, and away we go. We quote the match report: “After the usual pass, defender Romanchuk and goalkeeper Bandura were first on the ball, but Fateev, who came on as a substitute, managed to squeeze between him and throw the ball into the net – 2:0. This goal will be more curious than a probable own goal after a corner…” Regarding the moment with a potential own goal, this is about a corner, after which the ball ricocheted off the post into the back of the only FSK Mariupol goalkeeper in this match, Yakubenko – but still flew not into the net, but into the field. Nothing, this match has some funny things in store for several rounds ahead. (video pfl.ua)
