Since the beginning of August, after leaving the Kyiv club, Anton remains a free agent
Former defender Dynamo And Ukrainian youth team Anton Bol may continue his career in one of the Portuguese clubs Primeira Liga.
According to journalist Igor Burbas, the 21-year-old football player is currently staying in shape with one of the clubs in the elite division of the Portuguese championship. We are not talking about a grand team, but a team of “quite a good level.”
Bol has been without a club since the beginning of August, after leaving Dynamo (despite a previously signed contract until 2026). Anton is a graduate of the capital’s club, for which he played a lot and successfully at the youth level (in particular, he played and even scored in the UEFA Youth League). Bol managed to play for the first team of the Blue and White three times – at the end of the 2022/23 season.
The young defender played last season on loan for Zorya Lugansk – 12 appearances, one assist (against Breidablik in the Conference League). Anton missed the end of the season due to injury.
Bol also has seven matches for the Ukrainian U-21 national team. He regularly played in the qualifications for the Youth European Championship 2023, but the defender did not qualify for the forum itself, where Ruslan Rotan’s team triumphantly reached the semi-finals and qualified for the Olympics for the first time in history.
In March of this year, Bol played one half for the Olympic team (U-23), but again found himself outside the bid for the 2024 Olympic Games.
