Italian “Genoa “reached agreement on a contract with the striker Mario Balotelli said the club’s sporting director, Marco Ottolini.
The 34-year-old striker is a free agent after his contract with Turkish club Adana Demirspor expired.
“As we have already said, we assessed the condition of our injured players before making a decision. And we decided to go all the way for Balotelli.
We expect great enthusiasm; he showed a great desire to come to Genoa. Tomorrow he will become a new Genoa player, if there are no surprises, Ottolini was quoted as saying by Calciomercato, citing DAZN.
During his club career, Balotelli changed more than ten teams, the most famous of which are Manchester City, Liverpool, Milan and Inter.
