Ukrainian national team went to the first Women’s Amputee World Cup.
Before leaving, the President of the Ukrainian Football Association Andrey Shevchenko met with the team. Also, the UAF Women’s and Girls’ Football Committee, led by its new leader Anastasia Klipachenko, organized team building for the players to strengthen team spirit and motivation before important matches.
The Ukrainian national team, led by Dmitry Rzhondkovsky, was preparing for the competition in Zolotonosha, Cherkasy region. The Ukrainian delegation went to the tournament on Friday, November 1.
The first Women’s Football World Cup will be hosted by the Colombian city of Barranquilla. The tournament will take place from November 4 to 10. The Ukrainian team is in Group C, where it will compete with Ecuador, the USA and Nigeria.
