Ingulets played a brilliant match against the leader, scored twice, but still ends the standings with no wins to his name
Head coach Ingulets Vasily Kobin gave a comment after the away match of the 12th round UPL against Dynamoin which his team lost with a score of 2:5.
“I think that the quickly conceded goal nailed our team somewhere. But we continued to play the football that we agreed to play before the match. We played with a high defensive line, but Vanat’s speed and the class of the opposing team’s players played their role. We made simple mistakes and allowed Dynamo to score goals for us.”
“However, I am happy with my team. She tried to play, create, press.”
“We weren’t afraid of Dynamo. Yes, we understood that our opponent also plays in European cups, but even in these conditions the level of individual skill of the Dynamo players had an effect.”
The Ingulet player at Dynamo named after Valery Lobanovsky conceded four times before the break. With the score 0:2, Kobin’s team scored after a corner kick (Sergei Kislenko scored a precise roundhouse kick), and already in the second half they reduced the gap again – Taras Mikhavko helped the guests in this, scoring his third own goal in the current championship. The final score was set by Nikolai Shaparenko.
Another unsuccessful result did not allow the team from Petrovo to leave last place. Ingulets remains the only team in the UPL with zero victories. In the next round, Kobin’s team will again have to play in Kyiv – against the Left Bank.
