Barcelona confidently beat Red Star in the away match of the 4th round Champions League – 5:2.
The Catalans took the lead in the 13th minute – Inigo Martinez turned in Rafinha’s free-kick. The Serbian team bounced back in the middle of the first half thanks to an accurate shot from Silas.
By half-time, Barcelona had regained the lead through the efforts of Robert Lewandowski. At the beginning of the second half, the 36-year-old forward scored again, and it was Rafinha who brought the matter to ruin. Note that both the Pole and the Brazilian scored five goals each in the current Champions League.
Towards the end of the match, the teams exchanged goals from Fermin Lopez and Milson.
Barcelona scored 9 points and moved up to sixth place in the overall standings. Crvena Zvezda suffered a fourth defeat and found itself in 35th position.
In the next round, Barcelona will host Brest on November 26, and Crvena Zvezda will play Stuttgart at home on November 27.
