Roma lost on home field Bologna in the 12th round match Serie A – 2:3.
The guests opened the scoring midway through the first half, with Santiago Castro scoring. Roma was able to come back only after the break, Stefan El Shaarawy scored a goal. However, just three minutes later Bologna took the lead again after a goal from Riccardo Orsolini.
Jesper Karlsson later extended the visitors’ lead. Five minutes later, El Shaarawy scored a double, again giving hope to the hosts. However, the Wolves were unable to escape defeat.
Ukrainian Artem Dovbik started for Roma. The forward did not score any goals. For the Ukrainian, this was the 15th match for the club in all tournaments of the season.
Roma is in 12th place in Serie A with 13 points. Bologna scored 18 points and moved up to eighth place.
Both teams will play their next matches after the national team break on November 24. Roma will meet Napoli away, and Bologna will play Lazio in Rome.
