– Oh, it wasn’t easy! We had three stops: Brunei, Dubai, Mineralnye Vody, then a bus. We flew from Brunei to Dubai for eight hours, then a seven-hour transfer, from there four hours to Mineralnye Vody and another five hours by bus to Krasnodar. Fortunately, a day later, we found ourselves at the hotel (smiles).

— How did you experience your first hours in Russia, were you well received?

— Before answering this question, I would like to say that it is a great honor for us to accept the invitation from the RFU to play with the Russian national team. Of course, everyone knows your team, it’s a strong team that is at the top. Even taking into account that you did not participate in the previous World and European Championships, the Russian team remains one of the strongest teams in the world.

We thank you for the invitation, it is a real pleasure to be here. We are very happy that they do everything for us: the service, the tickets, the transportation, everything, everything, everything. It’s truly incredible! And perhaps this gratitude will not be enough if in the future we manage to invite our beloved Russian Federation to Brunei. I think it would be great. For example, if Russia has qualifying matches and you come to us to train,” Yusoff told .

The match between the national teams of Russia and Brunei will be broadcast live on the channel, the broadcast of the match will begin on Friday at 18:00 (Moscow time).
