Dzeko made a statement about the match between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Russian Federation

The Bosnian gave support to the Ukrainian people.

The captain of the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Dzeko, shared his opinion about a possible match between his team and the national team of Russia.

According to the striker, he refused to play in that match.

“I am against holding this match. I always stand only for peace. The Association knows my opinion.”

“Unfortunately, I will not be the one to decide who Bosnia and Herzegovina will play, but I have a clear position that does not include participation in this game while innocent people are suffering. I am in solidarity with the people of Ukraine in the difficult it’s time for them,” said Jacko Klix.

It was previously reported that UEFA reacted to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s intention to play the match against the Russians.
