Referee from Serbia Milorad Majic became a member of the commission of expert referees to the President of the Russian Football Union (RFS ), according to the RFU website.
The 49-year-old referee received the category of FIFA referee in 2009. He participated in two world championships – in 2014 and 2018. In 2016, he became the main referee of the Super Cup match of UEFA, in 2018 – the Champions League final. Majic is the first foreigner to be awarded the title of best referee in the Chinese Super League. He ended his career in 2019.
Majic became the ninth member of the current CES composition. In addition to him, the commission includes the head of the RFU arbitration committee Pavel Kamantsev (without the right to vote), Sergey Zuev, Alexander Gvardis, Nikolai Ivanov, Ravshan Irmatov, Sergey Fursa, Nikolai Levnikov, Eduard Maly.
