Williams riders didn’t earn points in Sao Paulo and finished at the end of the pack…
Alex Albon (15th): “Overall everything went well, but no luck with the safety car – the rivals were able to make a pit stop without losing time, which robbed us of all opportunities.
We worked well, I’m happy with how I spent the race. We may have made a mistake at the start on Hard, but thanks to the safety car we were able to switch to Medium straight away. I am looking forward to the last race of the season in Abu Dhabi.”
Nicholas Latific (16th): “During the night we repaired the ground damage yesterday, and today the car behaved better. On the first lap I severely blocked the tires which affected the speed in the first stint, then there was a pit stop failure. At the end of the race, the safety car offered some hope, but I was unable to overtake the peloton.”
