Toto Wolff: “Sebastian set very high standards for his work, earned the right to drive the best car in the championship and was ahead of all rivals in the title fight for four years in a row – it was a truly impressive achievement.”
Also, the head of the Mercedes team shared his prediction for the upcoming 2022 season finale: “Conditions are changing, temperatures are dropping towards evening and if our car was competitive in hot weather, it is not certain that it will be as efficient now . . But we still hope that the W13 will be capable of a high race pace. Of course we will try to make this Grand Prix as good as possible to stay ahead of Ferrari in the battle for 2nd place in the Constructors’ Championship.”
