Although the motorsport season has ended, the Austrian Red Bull Ring circuit is actively working, however not directly related to racing.
According to Speedweek, recently there was a shooting of a new film with the participation of the famous British actor Orlando Bloom, who once starred in such Hollywood blockbusters as The Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean.
The film is called Gran Turismo, the plot is connected with the computer game of the same name, and this time Bloom is invited to play the role of a certain motorsport manager named Danny Moore. During the recordings, the circuit in Spielberg and the surrounding area was closed to the public.
In addition to the Red Bull Ring, the action takes place on other circuits, so some scenes of the future movie have already been filmed on the Hungaroring, as well as on the Nürburgring. The premiere of Gran Turismo is scheduled for August next year.
