Lewis Hamilton thanks fans for their support

Lewis Hamilton thanked the fans who sent messages of support to him and the Mercedes team, which was especially important during last season when things were very difficult for the seven-time world champion and his colleagues.

Lewis Hamilton “You know how much your support means to me, and I am deeply grateful to everyone who has supported me throughout the years of my motorsport career, through success and failure. The team has collected some of your comments for me.

For example: “Thank you Lewis, you manage to share light with us even in the darkest of days, you always give me the strength to hope for a better future. You are truly a special person.”

But the fact is that it is thanks to you that there is light in my life, and I believe that this is what we should do for each other – try to cheer each other up. Not every day will be bright, but we should strive for this. But it’s important that without your support I wouldn’t be able to do what I do.

You should never give up, give up on your dream – you have to go to it no matter what. No one promises us a cloudless future, but every day I work on myself and try to get better, because I want my parents to be proud of me – they have done so much for me!

Growing up in Stevenage and playing in the park around the corner I never thought I’d have fans other than my parents, you know? But when I debuted in Formula 1 in 2007, I was amazed at how many people supported me, and their numbers are constantly growing.

Like in everyone else’s life, I have times when I think I’m not working hard enough, feel like I’m not good enough, times when I have to ask myself all these questions. But the main thing is that you find answers to it, find a solution, because you should always try to treat life positively, set yourself new tasks every day.

And there’s no point in being in a gloomy mood. You have to keep dreaming, because you can achieve all the goals you set yourself.”
