Alfa Romeo is going to auction unique posters

We have already mentioned that in Formula 1 we have decided to hold a special charity auction and transfer all proceeds to the relief fund for the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna hit by a natural disaster.

The Alfa Romeo team also contributed to the common cause: unique posters prepared for the Imola podium are auctioned, but it has been cancelled.

“We want to share special news: together with Automobilist publishers, we will present a poster dedicated to the race in Imola, but it was not printed at the time,” said the team’s press service. – Six copies signed by our drivers will be auctioned. Help us help Imola and take home a piece of Formula 1 history!”

Valtteri Bottas and Guanyu Zhou also spoke a few words about this.

“Hello everyone! This is a poster for the Imola race that was never actually published,” the Chinese rider added. “Given what happened there, it can be considered a special rarity. And now we want more out of it to fetch.”

“Together with Automobilist, we printed, signed and auctioned six copies on the F1Authentics website. All the money raised will be used to help flood victims in Emilia-Romagna,” concludes Valtteri.

Bidding is open until June 13, according to the online auction site, and the starting price is just £10 per poster. By comparison, the cup, which was intended for the winner of the race in Imola, costs almost £22,000 and the auction closes tonight.

But for some reason the public is most interested in the price of a miniature racing car wheel with a Pirelli tire, which is awarded to the pole winner: it is already on offer for almost £40,000, and the auction only lasts until 7pm London time.
