Red Bull driver Perez recovering from incident at Canadian Grand Prix

Red Bull driver Sergio Perez reported that he was in rehabilitation after an accident during qualifying for the Canadian Grand Prix.

In the second segment of qualifying for the Canadian Grand Prix, Perez crashed into a wall and was unable to continue the session. When passing one of the straights of Perez’s car, the right wheel jammed, as a result of which the driver lost the ability to turn and crashed into a soft wall. He couldn’t reverse and left the car.

“I have a serious sprain in my neck, but I am recovering. I am not training yet, but I continue to do my rehabilitation in order to be 100% ready for Silverstone”, quotes Perez Fox Sports Mexico .

The Mexican takes second place in the individual standings with 129 points. The British Grand Prix will take place in early July.
