In 2024, Oliver Goethe awaits his second full season in Formula 3. In 2023, Goethe won one race, was on the podium twice and took eighth place in the individual competition. The 19-year-old’s performance caught the attention of Helmut Marko and late last year Oliver was accepted into the Red Bull youth program.
Oliver Goethe said that he dreams of one day entering Formula 1, but is now fully concentrating on the coming season in Formula 3, as Helmut Marko expects results from him.
Oliver Goethe: “I remember meeting Helmut Marko and Christian Horner. They were very open with me and clearly explained what they expected from me: results. They want me to fight on the front row and I will do everything I can to achieve this.
I know it is very difficult to get into Formula 1, and only a few young drivers have set such a goal for themselves. But I’m going there step by step.
I always liked Sebastian Vettel, who also came from the Red Bull youth program. He has a good sense of humor and always had the right attitude. I want to follow in his footsteps and it would be great to be Max Verstappen’s teammate one day.”
