This week, Sebastian Vettel took part in tests of the Porsche 963 Hypercar of the factory Porsche Penske Motorsport team, which competed in the FIA WEC World Endurance Championship.
The team will field three cars at the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans marathon, and one of them still has two empty places. At a sponsorship event for the sports drink Perple, of which Sebastian became an ambassador and investor, he was asked whether the tests were related to the possibility of taking one of the vacant seats behind the wheel of Porsche.
“The reason I took part in the tests was that I was interested in evaluating the behavior of these cars,” replied the four-time world champion. – I had an interesting experience, I really enjoyed it and it was fun.
Now I have to think and decide which races I would like to do in the future. But I don’t know that yet.”
