British team driver “Mercedes” George Russell became the winner of the Austrian Grand Prix of the Formula 1 championship.
Second place was taken by Australian McLaren driver Oscar Piastri (+1.906), and the leading trio was completed by Spaniard Carlos Sainz (+4.533) from Ferrari.
Reigning world champion Max Verstappen (Red Bull) lost his lead after a collision with Lando Norris (McLaren). As a result, the Dutchman finished fifth and the Briton failed to finish.
The next Formula 1 Grand Prix will be held at Silverstone (United Kingdom) from July 5 to 7.
