Maserati has announced the line-up of its Formula E team for the eleventh season, with experienced Stoffel Vandoorne and Jake Hughes taking over the wheel.
Stoffel Vandoorne: “I am delighted to join Maserati MSG Racing next season and am proud to be associated with such an iconic name in motorsport.
I’ve not worked directly with them before, but I know the team well, both from my time at DS PENSKE and from my time at Mercedes when we shared the powertrain.
This is a great team, very experienced and dedicated. I hope we will have a lot of success and fight for victories and titles together.”
Jake Hughes: “I am delighted to sign a contract with Maserati MSG Racing. The success of the team, which is one of the founders of Formula E, speaks for itself. On a personal level, I have worked with the team before, I know them well and I am looking forward to returning.
The season has just ended, but I am already looking forward to arriving at the headquarters in Monaco, working with the engineers, getting into the simulator and preparing for the eleventh season. This is the beginning of a new chapter in my career and I know the best is yet to come.”
