Verstappen hopes to win races after the break

Max Verstappen has not won a race since the Spanish Grand Prix. The current world champion expects Red Bull Racing to improve after the summer break and start winning again.

Max Verstappen: “I believe that the team and I have to improve, otherwise we are going to have a difficult and long season. I think that is clear. Everyone has to work hard and do their best until the end of the season. Hopefully we will get enough chances to win a race here and there.

It is clear that we have to correct the situation, but it will not be easy. The opponents show a very high stability and perform well. But I hope that after the break we will have more chances to win.

“We have to be realistic. I’ve always said: one day the balance of power will change. And that’s exactly what happened in the last few races.”

During the race weekend at Spa, Max Verstappen spoke much more calmly on the radio with his race engineer Gianpiero Lambiase. The Red Bull Racing driver said that there is no misunderstanding between him and Lambiase: “All problems have been solved and I’m not going to talk about it anymore.

He and I don’t have to discuss anything for a long time, and we just keep working. That’s how it should be, and that’s how it always has been. A lot of words are just taken out of context.”
