1992 World Champion Nigel Mansell believes Lando Norris has a shot at the individual title…
Nigel Mansell: “Anything can happen. The season is not over until the last race is over.
Lando had a terrible time during qualifying in Baku. He had an unpleasant situation during qualifying, which was neither his fault nor the team’s fault. But he recovered in the race and would have finished sixth, but Red Bull and Ferrari dropped out on the penultimate lap
It was a great race for McLaren, they are doing a fantastic job. I think he can still stay ahead of Max in the individual competition. Red Bull have been fantastically reliable so far, but this can’t go on forever. Lando only needs one derailment or Max’s problem to reduce the gap to a minimum.
I think in Singapore the Red Bull cars will not be the fastest, but McLaren and Ferrari will be ahead.”
