Two-time W Series champion Jamie Chadwick has set a five-year deadline for her F1 debut. What happens if the target is not reached, the British pilot did not specify.
“I know that if I succeed in the youth series, I will compete in Formula 1,” Chadwick told Racingnews365. “My goal is to try it within five years.
I have a lot to do at this time, but I want to get on the right track in the youth championships, succeed and move up to Formula 1. I need to be able to count on the support of people who see such a goal achievable.
Jamie Chadwick tested the IndyLights at Sebring this week and confirmed she is considering a race in the US in 2023: “Nothing has been decided yet as I continue to evaluate the options available. I negotiate with Europe and America.”
