Athletistic / Hockey Former Avangard head coach Bob Hartley, who now works as a consultant for the club’s hockey academy, backed current Hawks coach Dmitry Ryabykin.
“I support Dima incredibly, I really believe in him. There is no doubt that Ryabykin will be a great hockey coach. And he is already a great coach,” Hartley said as quoted by Match TV.
Recall that Dmitry Ryabykin was Bob Hartley’s assistant when the Canadian led the Omsk club from 2018 to 2022. Under Hartley’s leadership, in 2021, Avangard won the Gagarin Cup.
