Moscow Striker “Dynamo” Ivan Muranov in conversation with a correspondent, he said the not-quite-logical first goal influenced the game of ‘blue and white’ Lokomotiv in the home game of the KHL Fonbet Championship (2:4).
Muranov scored the second goal for the Blue and Whites as his team played in the minority.
– Your goal in the minority clearly added courage to the Dynamo team and almost upset the whole game.
“Still, I didn’t return it, we just started putting more pressure on it,” Muranov said. – And in the minority it turned out even more than in equal compositions. After my goal, there was still a good moment – either for O’Dell or for Rashevsky… Now, if they had scored already then, the match could have ended differently. So I gave some kind of impetus, but I couldn’t turn the tide.
“Nevertheless, they fought desperately to the end.
– With teams like Lokomotiv, it should be like that. There will be the same games in the playoffs, we will have to play until the end.
– Why are Dynamo not doing well in the second half? Is the energy disappearing?
– Yes, the energy went nowhere, only the Yaroslavl team scored goals in two consecutive teams. The first – we won the face-off, rebounded successfully, no one managed to line up, the goalie did not see the puck because of the players. And Polunin hit, he has a good throw. But still, such goals are an accident. Under such a puck you will not even have time to fall.
– It’s understandable with this goal, but Dynamo conceded two more goals. Concerned?
– Well, we had to take risks, we lost. Therefore, even in the minority, they went ahead.
Dynamo have already lost to Lokomotiv twice this season – both times in Moscow.
