The Donetsk team, due to the Russian invasion, has already lost its third stadium.
The hockey club Donbass once again suffered from the actions of the Russian invaders. On January 2, the aggressor country again attacked civilian objects.
So the city of Druzhovka in the Donetsk region was hit by rocket attacks. As a result of the shelling, the Altair ice arena, where Donbass performed, was completely destroyed.
The team’s press service officially released a statement confirming the strike at the infrastructure facility.
“As a result of rocket attacks, the Altair ice arena was destroyed. It is this site that has been the home of the Donbass hockey club since 2014. The largest sports school of children and youth in hockey and figure skating in Ukraine worked on the basis of The Druzhkovskaya arena. The arena hosts Ukrainian championships, international competitions, cultural events, is a favorite vacation spot for citizens and guests of Druzhkovka,” the statement said.

It should be noted that the attack on the ice arena fell on the footage of the French TV channel, whose journalist, with live coverage, spoke about the situation at the front.
#Russia attacked the ice arena in #DruzhkovkaDonetsk region (controlled by #Ukraine); The Ukrainian Ice Hockey team HC “Donbas” moved there from Donetsk.

We also add that the Russian invaders have already destroyed the third arena of the Donetsk team. Earlier, HC Donbass lost at the Druzhba Sports Palace in Donetsk and at the Mariupol Ice Center.
Recall that earlier the invaders destroyed the international sports arena in Kharkiv.
