The performance record for the first round of the KHL playoffs was set following the results of the games that took place on Saturday, reports the league’s press service.
On March 11, three games took place in the KHL: “Admiral “at home beat”Salavat Yulayev “(3:2)”petrochemical “lost on its own ice”Ak Barsu “(2:4), S.K.A. on the road took control of Minsk “Dynamo – 4:2.
At the end of the match day, a record performance in the first round was set – 248 goals. The previous record was set in the first round of the 2011 Gagarin Cup, when a total of 237 goals were scored. The average performance of 5.77 goals per game is the highest in the first rounds of the KHL playoffs.
