All participants in the second round of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) playoffs have come forward.
The final entrant in the second round of the Gagarin Cup was CSKA Moscow, who finished second in the Western Conference following regular season results. The army team defeated Cherepovets Severstal in a series of seven matches (7). The Muscovites will face Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in the next round (3). In another pair in the West, St. Petersburg SKA (1) and Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo (4) will meet.
In the East, Kazan “Ak Bars” (1) will play with Vladivostok “Admiral” (7), and Omsk “Avangard” (3) will meet Magnitogorsk “Metallurg” (5).
