Andrey Kuzmenko, the host forward, scored an assist for his 70th (37+33) point in the current NHL season in 76 games. The 27-year-old became the third player to score 70 or more points in his rookie season in the last 15 years, according to the league’s press service. Other hockey players who achieved this goal are Artemiy Panarin (77 points in the 2015/2016 season) and Patrick Kane (72 points in the 2007/2008 season).
Recall that Kuzmenko became the sixth Russian hockey player to score 70 points in the current season in the National Hockey League.
