Kaprizov said second year at Minnesota was much easier

Forward “Minnesota” Kirill Kaprizov who became a guest at the 3×3 Hockey Tournament, spoke about life in Minneapolis, noting that the second season in the NHL was easier for him than his debut.

Kaprizov plays for “Savage” of the 2022/21 season. Last season, the 25-year-old Russian played in 87 regular season and NHL playoff games, scored 116 points (54 goals and 62 assists).

– Can we say that Kaprizov has already settled in the NHL?

– Sure. The second year at Minnesota turned out to be much easier than the first. I already know where you can go… Where? So say it all! I don’t particularly like going to nightclubs. You can go to the restaurant in the evening, sit somewhere with the guys.

There are many places there and the nature outside the city is very beautiful. It’s cool to go somewhere,” Kaprizov said.

— Can you compare Minnesota and Novokuznetsk? What do they have in common, and what’s the difference?

— It is difficult to compare cities in America and Russia. They are all different. Here in Novokuznetsk there are no skyscrapers like in Minneapolis, which is more isolated. Even close, nothing is the same. Everything is different.
