Chelyabinsk “Tractor” announced on its official website the signing of a contract with American striker Charles Robinson.
The deal with the 31-year-old striker runs until the end of the 2023/24 season.
— With the signing of Charles, Traktor acquires an experienced and tall striker, whose strengths are versatility, the ability to operate effectively in both the majority and the minority, as well as the ability to play with power and put pressure on opposing players. Robinson can play center and wing; he has good skating and strong leadership qualities. “He will bring even more confidence to the team and strengthen it physically,” said Traktor general director Alexey Volkov.
Previously in the NHL, Robinson played for Ottawa, Calgary, Anaheim and Chicago. In total, he played 62 league matches and scored 12 (4+8) points.
