Hockey players Minnesota Wild conquered Colorado Avalanche during an NHL preseason game.
The match in Saint-Paul ended with a score of 4:2 (2:1, 1:0, 1:1). Scored a double for the Wild Kirill Kaprizov , Alex Goligoski and Jonas Brodin scored a goal each. Matthew Steenburg and Riley Taft scored for Colorado.
Kaprizov was recognized as the first star of the match.
In another match of the day, the Washington Capitals defeated the Detroit Red Wings at home – 4:3. The winners got two assists from Ivan Miroshnichenko, one from Evgeny Kuznetsov and one from Alexander Ovechkin. Miroshnichenko, for whom it was his first game with the Capitals, became the second star of the game.
The St. Louis Blues lost to the Chicago Blackhawks on the road, 1:2 (in overtime). The guests received help from Pavel Buchnevich.
The new NHL season begins on October 11.
