Goalkeeper of Tyumen “Rubin” Yegor Nazarov spoke about his dream of playing for Chelyabinsk Traktor in the Fonbet KHL championship.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper is a Traktor graduate. He played one match for the Chelyabinsk club in the KHL in the 2015/16 season.
— Information has emerged that you may be moving to Avangard. Were there really negotiations?
— Last season, such an option existed. You could say that I was already preparing my things, but in the end it didn’t work out. If I understand correctly, the judgment came from Avangard. In Tyumen, they agreed to let him go.
—Was there any interest from your native Traktor?
— After the championship season with Rubin, I had a glimmer of hope of returning home. Since my childhood, I have dreamed of playing for Traktor – this team is in my heart. But nothing went further.
— After the end of the contract with Rubin, do you want to start negotiations with KHL clubs?
– What can we say about it now? We have a good team at Rubin, we have high goals and we want to have a good season. And then it will be what happens, it will be,” quotes RB Sport Nazarov.
