Athletistic/Hockey. On Monday, December 25, one of the KHL regular season matches took place. In Moscow, CSKA received Salavat Yulaev from Ufa.
Already at the very beginning of the match, Sergei Shmelev gave the guests the advantage. Shmelev received the puck at the blue line, advanced halfway and fired a wrist shot under the far post. A rebound from a defender helped the Ufa player a little here.
A few minutes later, Vitaly Abramov equalized the score. Poltapov made a tackle in the opponent’s zone near the right side, then Mingachev made a pass to the center, where Abramov picked up the puck at high speed and threw it sharply into the corner of the goal. Samonov was hit on the first throw.
At the end of the second period, Vladislav Kamenev gave CSKA the lead. During an Army positional attack, Provolnev shot from the blue line and the puck ricocheted off Kamenev, who was on the penny, and flew near the post.
At the start of the third period, Pavel Koledov equalized the score. Sharov in the center climbed on the CSKA goal, the army team knocked out the puck, but directly on the stick of Koledov, who threw it under the crossbar from the left throw-in circle.
Immediately, Sergei Okulov gave CSKA the lead again. Okulov set up a wrist shot from the top of the left faceoff circle – the puck flew into the net under the goalie’s trap.
Late in the third period, Josh Livo tied the score. Sharov passed the ball to the nickel, from where Livo shot on target.
The match went into overtime, where Salavat Yulaev won. Josh Livo scored the game-winner. Livo sent the puck under the crossbar with a wrist shot from the right faceoff circle.
CSKA suffered a fourth consecutive defeat. Previously, the army team lost to Dynamo, SKA and Lokomotiv. Sergei Fedorov’s team ranks sixth in the KHL Western Conference standings with 48 points.
CSKA fans reacted to this. They left their comments in the official red-blue community on VKontakte.
Dmitry Shipilov:
– And let Fedorov say that it’s not because of Fedotov…
Sergei Loskutov:
– Remove Fedotov from the door!!!!!!
Alexei Ilyichev:
– I don’t want to swear, but we don’t have a goalie, he misses almost every puck, it seems like we don’t have a goalie coach.
Andrei Menshikov:
– Honestly, I’m tired of watching such matches. I don’t remember CSKA losing so much against SKA. No discipline and fourth defeat. The coach resigns. Enough. It’s a real shame for our team.
Stanislav Loginov:
– By playing 30 minutes out of 60, we can hardly win, why can’t we play the whole match like in the second half. With this persistence with which they continue to involve Fedotov, it is time to involve Gamzin. Soroka was number one from the age of 18.
Lyudmila Kolobovnikova:
Change goalkeeper! The whole team was being dragged down with every match. Too bad, are you Champions or is there something we, your fans, don’t understand???! The Champions and even CSKA don’t play like that!
Igor Smerkis:
– What kind of donkey’s stubbornness is there in Fedotov? Prove to everyone that they didn’t ruin his career?
